Listen to the news in Hindi (and 19 other languages)
RecentBrief writes and speaks the same briefing in the language you pick — Hindi, Tamil, Spanish, Japanese, and more — with more than one voice per language.
Editions are researched and then drafted with models. If we cannot cite a URL, the story does not ship.
Why the language of the briefing matters
Most “global news” products still speak one English. That is fine if English is how you think. It is a tax if you want the morning in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, or the language you actually use on the train.
RecentBrief supports twenty languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Bengali, Punjabi, Gujarati, Malayalam, Kannada, Telugu, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Dutch, and Polish. You can also ask for the underlying stories in that language when the sources exist.
Voices, not one robot
Each language has named voices, not a single generic narrator. Hindi includes Karan, Khyati, Anisha, Nikhil. English includes Natalie, Matthew, Ruby, Hugo, and Indian English voices such as Anisha and Nikhil. You pick one you can live with.
If you already have a Murf voice ID, you can use that too. Preview before you commit. Onboarding plays a sample in the language you chose so you hear it before the first real edition.
Same briefing, spoken
Language is not a separate product. The research still opens real pages. The written stories still carry source URLs. The spoken script is that edition in the voice you picked. Friends with the listen link hear the same language you chose — they do not need to create an account to play it.

- Can I hear the news in Hindi?
- Yes. Pick Hindi and a voice such as Karan or Anisha, preview it, then generate. The listen link plays that same edition.
- Do you make a different site for every language?
- No. One product. You choose language and voice for your briefing. Thin /hi and /ta copies of the marketing site would not help anyone.
